Poster Monday: Othello

The second Poster Monday spot goes to Ferenc Kiss, a graphic designer from BSzeged, Hungary, graduated from the Teachers’ Training College in Szeged. Since 1996 Ferenc has been taking part in exhibitions both individually and as a member of an artist group called “In Memoriam Geriub Gepleki”.

This poster we are featuring here (Othello) is one of a serie of seven posters presented under the title “Switch on with Shakespeare” to honor Shakespeare’s legacy. As the piece above, all the posters from this serie were made with hand crafted materials, objects and a flash light. Ferenc told us that it took more than a half a year to complete this whole serie.
